ユニクロのフリーマガジン『LifeWear magazine』では、人々の暮らしと共にあるLifeWearをさまざまな切り口で紹介しています。

今回のテーマは“Revisiting Classic”。

例えば、新しいシルエットのシャツも、素材や柄の考え方は、古くから愛されてきたものに根ざしている。コートも生地が軽く柔らかくなっているけれど、 見た目はとてもオーセンティック。そのようにして、服のルーツやトラディショナルなディテールを重んじつつも、時代に合わせて、着心地や機能を真摯にアップデートし続けてきたユニクロのLifeWearに通底するクラシックな佇まいを、アイテムごとに紐解いていく一冊です。

Theme: “Revisiting Classic”

LifeWear, UNIQLO’s free magazine, explores the role of everyday clothes from a variety of angles.This issue’s theme is “Revisiting Classic.”

In a new shirt pattern, for instance, the fabric or the design will be rooted in a long-beloved style. A coat may have a light and soft material, but the look will be thoroughly authentic. This issue shows how all these items tie into LifeWear’s dedication to classic style, honoring traditional designs and fashion history as we make updates to fit and functionality to suit the times.

Travel styles are shot against a backdrop of Woodstock, a cozy town in Upstate New York. There are also views of Manchester, Paris, Gothenburg, Seoul, Los Angeles, and Düsseldorf, along with glimpses of the daily lives of interesting people all over the world.
